📦 Island Crafter Shipping Policy

At Island Crafter, every piece is handmade with care, attention, and a little sawdust in the air. Because of that, shipping isn’t instant like big-box stores, but we do our best to get your order out quickly and safely.

Processing & Fulfillment Time

Each item is handcrafted, inspected, and prepped before shipping.
• Standard fulfillment: 3–10 business days
If you need something faster for a gift or special occasion, reach out before ordering and we’ll let you know if a rush or express option is possible.

Shipping Rates & Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of your order.
We ship across Canada. Delivery timelines depend on the carrier and your location.

Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow your package’s journey to your door.

Local Pickup

Prefer to skip shipping?
Local Pickup – Lake Cowichan / Duncan meet-up available.
Choose Local Pickup at checkout and we’ll contact you to arrange a time and place.

Packaging

We package each piece carefully to ensure it arrives in the same gorgeous condition it left the workshop. Many items are shipped with protective wrap or boxed securely to keep them safe in transit.

Lost or Delayed Packages

Once an order has been shipped, we rely on the carrier to get it to you on time. If something goes missing or arrives unusually late, contact us and we’ll do our best to help track it down and support a claim if needed.

Wrong Address Disclaimer

Please double-check your address at checkout. If an incorrect address was entered and the package is returned to us, the re-shipping cost is the customer’s responsibility.
